Wake Tech culinary arts students bake up a fundraiser

Students in Culinary Arts at Wake Technical Community College put their skills to good use, building gingerbread houses for a local charity. The students volunteered their time to create the intricate holiday showpieces for Triangle Family Services, a local non-profit that helps families in need. Triangle Family Services auctioned them off at its annual fundraiser held at the Umstead Hotel in Cary.

Wake Tech, recognized as a leader in hospitality training, offers three distinct
programs: Culinary Technology, Baking & Pastry Arts, and Hotel and Restaurant Management. Each program offers options for a two year
Associate in Arts degree or a one-year certificate. Read more about the program in the page 2 article of the Wake Tech Career Focus magazine.
