Smart Start Employees volunteer at food bank

Wake County SmartStart will participate in a community service project at the Food Bank of Eastern and Central North Carolina on September 25.

Wake County SmartStart employees will assist with repackaging and sorting food donations, quality control of food donations and administrative work as required.

In conjunction with the community service project, with the help of its building management company Highwoods Property, Wake County SmartStart will spearhead a food drive at its office location, 1121 Situs Court, Suite 250 in Raleigh. In support of the Food Bank’s Hunger Action Month, food will be collected in Wake County SmartStart’s foyer from Monday, September 14 through Friday, October 16.
