Sharing the Love with Mama Dip

If you have ever eaten with Mildred Edna Cotton Council at her restaurant in Chapel Hill, you know the love that goes into every plate of food they serve. Mildred Council, known as Mama Dip is celebrating her 80th birthday.

Her family is celebrating by creating the Share the Love Fund at Triangle Community Foundation.  The Share the Love Fund will have an impact on multiple generations in our community.  Grants will be made to programs that engage children and youth in activities that will inspire and encourage the development of a healthy sense of self-worth and self-esteem.

The family is hosting a birthday celebration at the Barn at Fearrington Village on September 20 to raise money for the Share the Love Fund and they warmly welcome your support.  Tickets are $100 each.
